This 2016 Rebecca Caudill nominee wrapped up the list for me! All 20 done! I was riveted by this story of an African albino boy who grows up shunned by his neighbors and family because he looks different. When the family moves to a big city, they learn that albinos are hunted and killed there because some superstitious people believe the body parts of albinos are lucky. Habo manages to escape death, and finds shelter at the home of a blind sculptor in another city. It is here he again escapes death, but also finds himself and learns his true worth. 2 thumbs up for this book!
